PAULA DEEN’S “NOT YO’ MAMA’S BANANA PUDDING”


Paula Deen's "Not Yo 'Mama’s Banana Pudding"

It's not banana pudding if it's not my Not Yo ’Mama banana pudding recipe! This banana pudding recipe requires bananas, instant French vanilla pudding, sweetened condensed milk, whipped cream, cream cheese and cookies. Take advantage now.

ingredients:


  • 2 bags of Pepperidge farm chess cookies OR 2 bags of vanilla wafers
  • 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 can (5 oz) instant French vanilla pudding
  • 1 package (8 oz.) Cream cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container (12 oz.) Thawed frozen whipped topping or an equal amount of sweetened whipped cream


Instructions:


  1. Line the bottom of a 13 × 9 inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and coat the bananas on top.
  2. Bowl 1- Mix the milk and pudding mixture and mix well using an electric hand mixer.
  3. Bowl 2- Mix the cream cheese and the condensed milk and mix until smooth.
  4. Fold the whipped topping in the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve!
